WEST CORNWALL ORCHID SOCIETY

The West Cornwall Orchid Society brings together people with a keen interest in the cultivation of a wide variety of orchids from around the world. Whether you have a single orchid on the kitchen windowsill or a dedicated greenhouse you are very welcome to drop in for a chat and even better to become a member. You do not have to be an expert!

The society celebrates its 21st birthday this year.

We meet once a month and generally there is a speaker who is an expert in a particular area of orchid cultivation. There are opportunties to meet with members from other orchid societies in the south west and to go on short breaks to places such as the Eric Young Orchid Foundation in Jersey.

A show is held on the first weekend of April every year.

Camborne Community Centre near the Police Station

Annual membership is £10 for a couple and £7 for an individual
